When people say “culture is meant to be shared” I’m literally like ???? Because that has literally never been the purpose of any culture. Culture is about identity, community and family. It’s about tradition. It is not and has never been about…

What on earth is sharing for you?
Sharing is precisely about talking about my beliefs and culture and sharing with the world the culture of my country, taking it to other places for people to know it. (not adapt it, just know it) when you allow people from all the world to come to tour country and visit a natural place, a monument that honors a leader or hero, streets full of history. That is sharing culture. Paris shares its culture by letting us enter its museums, walk its streets, they share it just by people being and acting like Parisians. Mexico shared its culture and shares it with their internationally known cuisine, letting archaeologists, historians and anthropologists investigate and discover the past of the Mayans. Sharing culture is travelling, leaving a part of you where you go even if it is just your manners, and bringing back home with you things learnt there where you traveled. Sharing culture is understanding, knowing, respecting everyone’s beliefs, manners, looks, thinking and customs.
